No Change in Fuel Prices Amid Global Market Volatility

Fuel prices across India remained unchanged on March 28, providing some respite to consumers amid ongoing geopolitical tensions and domestic political sensitivities.

In Delhi, petrol and diesel prices stand at ₹94.77 and ₹87.67 per litre, respectively. In Mumbai, petrol is priced at ₹103.54 per litre, while diesel costs ₹90.03 per litre.

Other major cities including Kolkata, Chennai, and Hyderabad continue to report petrol prices above ₹100 per litre.

Experts note that fuel prices are influenced by several factors, including global crude oil rates, exchange rates, and taxes imposed by both central and state governments, which also explain regional price differences.
